Hopefully, this helps people get an idea of how to mix a pallate. It's not something I can just give a formula for. You have to find your own way of doing things.

The last part of the tutorial is because I damn well know learning by paint-overs is not a popular suggestion. The progress shots are for both people wanting to learn, and watch-dogs who want to tell the difference between a paint-over and a normal buildup of color in WIP images. Just...if you're going to crusade against paint-overs, do one first. I'm pretty sure you'll discover that they take just as much work as a traditional painting, with less satisfactory results and are annoying as hell in the process.
