One thing I've been doing lately is work with symbols, in the Jungian sense. It's been interesting noticing the things that leap out at me as "meaningful". One of them is, strangely enough, female figures with horns. I do not know why, but that's one image that pops up in my imagination a lot, with very little encouragement. I dunno why. It has enough impact, though, for me to paint it without fully understanding it.

My biggest problem with this picture was that I did it on an LCD monitor. My posture has never been better (if I slump the colors change) but I'm not ENTIRELY happy with the picture results. What I had on my LCD monitor was BRIGHT and shiny. What I see on the tube is...not so shiny. I like the tamer colors, but...I also don't like the tamer colors.

I don't know. I need lots of imput from you guys to know how I want to handle this one.

Anyway...usual info. One week, Photoshop, Wacom Intros and that g*ddamn LCD monitor from the pits of hell. Sorry. Just...a little irritated with it.
